Project Assistant – Somalia
BOA-EMT is a teaming partner for a major project under review. This is a potential Emergency Management activity in Somalia. This project involves an assessment of Somalia’s Emergency Preparedness & Response capabilities. If this project is awarded, the project team would seek to hire a consulting Project Assistant for part-time remote work. The Project Assistant must be fluent in Somali, with bi-cultural skills and the ability to coordinate with counterparts in the field a major plus.
If the Project Assistant is based in Somalia and has a background in Food Security that would be a major plus.
The Project Assistant would report directly to our Prime Contractor’s management team and provide services including written translation, verbal translation during workshops and simulations, and other project coordination activities as assigned. Payment would be based on the completion of specific task orders completed by the team and reimbursed by an international donor in up to three installments. Contract amount is based on determination by our Prime Contractor and will be clarified during the potential award process. The potential period of performance for the award is expected to be 6 months, with most activity taking place between late summer 2021 and the winter of 2022.
